Notice regarding renewing your chiropractor registration

To JCR registered chiropractors

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and cooperation with the JCR’s activities.

The Japan Chiropractic Register (JCR) was established to register chiropractors in Japan who meet certain educational standards voluntarily. With the cooperation of the International Board of Chiropractic Examiners (IBCE), we conduct registration exam and submit the resulting registry to Medical Professions Division of Health Policy Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Regarding your current JCR full registration, the next renewal period is from April 1 to May 31, 2026. For details on the renewal process, please check our website and complete the procedure within the specified period using the online form below or by mailing the PDF form.

Please note that if you have not yet earned the required 6 credits for last year’s compulsory subjects, you must take “Medical-Related Laws and Regulations” and “Advertising Law and Ethics” once each this year to fulfill the last year’s credit requirements. Therefore, even those who have not yet earned the required credits for the compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for renewal.
